Manufacture of the material preparation modules took place in Port Elizabeth under CMB supervision and they were then shipped to Brazil, together with a Catalytic Reduction unit to clean process exhaust gases, which was also manufactured in Port Elizabeth.

The layout of the complete production and utilities facility was also done by CMB, including equipment sourced in the USA and Germany. CMB supervised the installation and commissioning of the plant in Brazil.

The services included the mechanical and electrical design of the slurry material preparation modules, including tanks, agitators, pumps, process and utility piping and a load cell mass addition control system, plus all process and utility services to the remainder of the plant.
