Fred Nel is resident in the Port Elizabeth office.

He originally joined the firm in 1971 in Port Elizabeth, spent a year in the London office of our then associate firm, and returned to our Windhoek office in 1973.
After a break from the firm for a while, he returned to the Port Elizabeth office in 1977.

He is a Mechanical Engineer with experience covering most aspects of consulting mechanical engineering. He has specialised in hot and cold water and steam and boiler systems, a variety of piped services, including compressed air and medical gases, industrial ventilation, lifts and hoists, water treatment and heat pumps. He also has extensive project management experience.
